Na fotografii wejście do ogrodu i restauracji Bractwa Strzeleckiego na Szelągu. Szeląg już od początku XIX służył mieszkańcom jako miejsce wycieczkowe i wypoczynkowe. Ogród rozrywkowy, restauracja oraz kawiarnia przyciągały tłumy poznaniaków. Można tu było również posłuchać koncertów granych w przeznaczonym do tego pawilonie – rozrywek w tym monumentalnym kompleksie, gdzie zmieścić się mogło nawet kilka tysięcy osób, tym samym nie brakowało. W 1923 roku Bractwo Strzeleckie zakupiło ten teren, unowocześniło go i otworzyło uchodzącą za największą jak na tamte czasy strzelnicę w Polsce. Ogród nazywano Ogrodem Strzeleckim na Szelągu lub Parkiem Bractwa Kurkowego. W trakcie walk o Cytadelę w 1945 roku ogród został zniszczony. Do dziś zachowały się jedynie fragmenty murków i schodów.

The photo shows the entrance to the garden and restaurant of the Strzelce Brotherhood in Szeląg. From the beginning of the 19th century Szeląg served its residents as a tourist and leisure place. The entertainment garden, restaurant and cafe attracted crowds of Poznań residents. You could also listen to concerts played in the pavilion intended for this - entertainment in this monumental complex, where even a few thousand people could fit, so there was no shortage. In 1923, the Strzelce Brotherhood bought the area, modernized it and opened it as the largest shooting range in Poland at that time. The garden was called the Strzelecki Garden in Szeląg or the Fowler Brotherhood Park. During the fight for the Citadel in 1945, the garden was destroyed. Only fragments of walls and stairs have survived to this day.
