The Hôpital de la Salpêtrière in Paris is one of the largest hospitals in Europe. It was built in the 17th century and covers a huge area with many specialist clinics. Especially in the 19th century it enjoyed a great international reputation; many well-known personalities such as Siegmund Freud and Carl Gustav Jung have worked here.
Here you can see the "Cour St. Louis" with the central pavilion and the dome of the chapel, which was built under Louis XIV.
