Man erkennt, dass nach dem Krieg der Marienplatz durch den Versatz der Häuserfront rechts im Bild vergrößert wurde. Der Turm des Alten Rathauses in der Bildmitte wurde (auch in der Höhe) verändert wieder aufgebaut, und zwar erst ab 1971, nachdem er noch im Krieg wg Einsturzgefahr nach einem Bombenangriff komplett gesprengt worden war. "Unverändert" geblieben sind der Teil des Alten Rathauses links vom Turm, die Kirche in der Mitte, der sichtbare Ausläufer der Kirche ganz rechts.
