Mit diesem Bilderpaar wird sehr klar deutlich, wie schnell das Waldsterben im Oberharz auf Grund der Hitze 2018/19 und der explosionsartigen Ausbreitung des Borkenkäfer voran schreitet.
Das Bild von 2017 ist ohne Dokumentationsabsicht entstanden - da ging es nur um ein nettes Naturbild. Das von 2019 hingegen soll sehr wohl die Veränderung aufzeigen. Um es noch einmal klar zu sagen - alles was in dem Bild von 2019 im "Wald" grau oder braun ist ist definitiv tot !!
This pair of images makes it very clear how quickly the forest dieback in the Upper Harz is progressing due to the heat of 2018/19 and the explosive spread of the bark beetle.
The picture from 2017 was taken without any intention of documentation - it was just a nice picture of nature. The one from 2019, on the other hand, is intended to show the change. To be clear again - everything that is gray or brown in the "forest" in the 2019 picture is definitely dead!!
