A wing of the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel and the Palais des Tuileries. The Tuileries Palace - residence of the French rulers - was originally connected to the Louvre and formed a complex even vaster than today. It was set on fire during the Paris Commune in 1871. The burnt out ruins still remained for a long time until they were finally demolished in 188. The site is now the location of the Jardin des Tuileries.
