Boulevard Charner, Esplanade Georges Pompidou, Espace « Archipel » et Novotel 4 étoiles.
La caserne Charner, construite en 1875 pour abriter le 71ème RI, désaffectée puis occupée par l’école municipale des Beaux-Arts, des syndicats et des groupes divers.
Puis à partir de 2011/2012 le centre Charner est réhabilité avec l'Esplanade, un espace couvert, un miroir d'eau, un parking souterrain.
En 2014/2016 transformation des locaux de l'aile sud (droite photo) en logements d'habitation et quelques locaux commerciaux.
Ensuite, naissance de l'Espace Archipel (gauche de la photo), pôle médical regroupant une vingtaine de spécialités.
En mai 2017, le bâtiment de face est transformé en un Novotel 4 étoiles avec son restaurant et 90 chambres.

The Charner barracks, built in 1875 to house the 71st IR, disused and then occupied by the municipal school of Fine Arts, unions and various groups.
Then from 2011/2012 the Charner center was rehabilitated with the Esplanade, a covered space, a water mirror, an underground car park.
In 2014/2016 transformation of the premises in the south wing (right photo) into residential accommodation and some commercial premises.
Then, the creation of the Espace Archipel (left of the photo), a medical center bringing together around twenty specialties.
In May 2017, the building opposite was transformed into a 4-star Novotel with its restaurant and 90 rooms.
