View of the city walls of Vannes with St. Pierre Cathedral and the Powder Tower. The city fortifications were built between the 3rd and 17th centuries. Three quarters of them are still preserved today. At the time of the old photo, at the beginning of the 20th century, there were still orchards at the foot of the wall.
