Der Große Kursaal in Bad Cannstatt wurde von 1825 bis 1841 im Stil des Klassizismus nach Plänen von Nikolaus von Thouret vom „Brunnenverein Cannstatt“ und mit Unterstützung König Wilhelms I. erbaut. Lange Zeit diente er als Badeanstalt, in der Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts sogar Königinnen und Könige kurten.
The Great Kursaal in Bad Cannstatt was built from 1825 to 1841 in the classicist style according to plans by Nikolaus von Thouret by the “Brunnenverein Cannstatt” and with the support of King Wilhelm I. For a long time it served as a bathing establishment, and at the end of the 19th century even queens and kings took a cure there.
