Der Blick vom Rathausturm auf die von Trümmern beseitigte Altstadt.
Die einstige Pacht- und Einkaufsstraße "Prager Straße" verläuft quer durch das Bild und endet am Dresdner Hauptbahnhof. Was den alten Dresdner wohl durch den Kopf ging, als sie durch diese leergefegte Straße gelaufen sind ?!
Dennoch beeindruckt mich der Überlebenswille dieser Generation ! Eindrucksvoll kann man das in der bescheidenen Begrünung unten links im Bild erkennen. Gemessen am Gesamtbild, ein Hoffnungsschimmer für die Zukunft.
Der Rathausturm ist schon seit einigen Jahren nicht mehr zu besteigen. Deshalb habe ich mich der Drohne bedient um diese Perspektive nachzustellen.

The former leasehold and shopping street "Prager Straße" runs right through the picture and ends at Dresden Central Station. What was going through the minds of the old Dresden residents as they walked through this deserted street?!
Nevertheless, I am impressed by the will to survive of this generation! This can be seen impressively in the modest greenery at the bottom left of the picture. Measured against the overall picture, a glimmer of hope for the future.
