The buildings on lower Main Street range from 1878 to 1823. At the top of the hill is the Masonic Temple, designed by Boston architect George M. Harding,which was dedicated on July 4, 1878. Below it are a series of brick and granite buildings dating from the 1830s. Black & white photos date from 1990, color photo is summer 2024.
