Rue Saint-Pierre in Caen with the Église Saint-Pierre in the background, at the beginning of the 20th century and today. At that time a tram still circulated here, today it is a pedestrian zone. Since the city was heavily bombed towards the end of World War II, only a few old houses remain in the city center.
