The Linhart Square is the old town center of Radovljica. The houses were mostly built between the 16th and 18th century.
The square is named after Anton Tomaž Linhart, Slovenia's first playwright, who was born in one of the square's houses. Linhart is also considered the father of Slovene historiography: he was the first historian to write of all Slovenes as a unit rather than focusing on single historical provinces. He also set the foundations of Slovene ethnography.
On the right is the Radovljica Manor. It was built in the 13th century by the Counts of Ortenburg. It was thoroughly renovated in the 16th century by its then-owners, the Counts of Dietrichstein. Now, the manor is home to the Radovljica music school, Apiculture Museum and the Baroque Hall.

Der Linhart Square ist der alte Stadtkern von Radovljica. Die Häuser wurden größtenteils zwischen dem 16. und 18. Jahrhundert erbaut.
Der Platz ist nach Anton Tomaž Linhart, Sloweniens erstem Dramatiker, benannt, der in einem der Häuser des Platzes geboren wurde. Linhart gilt auch als Vater der slowenischen Historiographie: Er schrieb als erster Historiker alle Slowenen als Einheit und konzentrierte sich nicht auf einzelne historische Provinzen. Er hat auch die Grundlagen der slowenischen Ethnographie geschaffen.
Auf der rechten Seite befindet sich das Herrenhaus von Radovljica. Es wurde im 13. Jahrhundert von den Grafen von Ortenburg erbaut. Es wurde im 16. Jahrhundert von seinen damaligen Besitzern, den Grafen von Dietrichstein, gründlich renoviert. Heute beherbergt das Herrenhaus die Musikschule Radovljica, das Imkerei-Museum und den Barocksaal.
