The Panggung Bandaraya (engl. City Theatre) is a historical theatre hall close to the Merdeka Square in Kuala Lumpur. Construction began in 1896 and was completed in 1904. It was designed by Arthur Benison Hubback and originally used as a town hall.
In 1992, a fire destroyed the entire interior of the theatre, but it was restored quickly.
Das Panggung Bandaraya (engl. City Theatre) ist ein historischer Theatersaal in der Nähe des Merdeka-Platzes in Kuala Lumpur. Die Bauarbeiten begannen 1896 und wurden 1904 fertiggestellt. Sie wurde von Arthur Benison Hubback entworfen und war ursprünglich ein Rathaus.
1992 zerstörte ein Feuer das gesamte Innere des Theaters, das jedoch schnell wiederhergestellt wurde.
