Es liegt an der Heinrich-Heine-Allee, der damaligen Alleestraße bzw. dem Hindenburgwall. 1922 begonnen, war es bei seiner Fertigstellung im Jahr 1924 mit 57 Metern Höhe und zwölf oberirdischen Geschossen zusammen mit dem Industriehaus Düsseldorf eines der ersten Hochhäuser in Düsseldorf und eines der frühesten in Deutschland. Es steht seit dem 3. Dezember 1984 unter Denkmalschutz. The Wilhelm Marx House is an office and commercial building in the city center of Düsseldorf. It is located on the Heinrich-Heine-Allee, the then Alleestraße and the Hindenburgwall. Started in 1922, it was one of the first skyscrapers in Düsseldorf and one of the earliest in Germany when it was completed in 1924 with a height of 57 meters and twelve above-ground floors, together with the Industriehaus Düsseldorf. It is listed as a historic monument since 3 December 1984.
