The Pont de la Tournelle is a bridge over the river Seine, connecting the Île St. Louis to the Quai de la Tournelle. It was deconstructed from 1918 on and replaced by the current bridge in 1928. Its name refers to a turret ("tourelle") as part of the ancient city wall that was located here.
