Pont Alexandre III and Quai d'Orsay during the "Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et industriels moderne". At the World's Fair, which took place from April to October 1925, arts and industry designs from 18 countries were presented.
On the bridge, which dates back to an earlier world exhibition, luxury boutiques were installed in 50-meter-long galleries. Forty merchants, mainly tailors, jewelers, goldsmiths, furriers and art book publishers, offered the visitors state-of-the-art products. The large arches opened the architectural ensemble, maintaining the beautiful view on the Seine, including the Louvre and the Trocadéro Palace. In boats on the Seine, cafés and restaurants were installed.
