The Eiffel Tower at night during the World Exposition "Exposition des Arts Décoratifs" in 1925 and today. The large letters "Citroën" were an advertisement for the automobile designer André Citroën.
It was a smaller world exhibition of arts and industrial design, which took place from April to October 1925.
Today, after dark, the Eiffel Tower flashes every full hour for about 5 minutes. The lighting consists of 20,000 individual lamps connected by more than 40 km of power cables.
