Ulice Nowowiejskiego i Kościuszki, wówczas Kręta i Wały Kościuszki. Dom pracowników Dyrekcji Dróg Wodnych po drugiej wojnie światowej, w roku 1948. Gdyby nie został zniszczony, wyglądałby pewnie podobnie do tego przy ulicy Kościuszki. Niestety, masywne portale zastąpiły zwykłe drzwi z daszkiem z PCV, a dwuspadowy dach nadbudówką, stosowaną na kamienicach także dzisiaj . Zachowała się natomiast boczna, stalowa brama i ogrodzenie. Na fotografii widoczna także budowa pierwszego etapu domu studenckiego Hanka.

If it hadn't been destroyed, it would probably look similar to that at Kościuszki Street. Unfortunately, massive portals have replaced ordinary PVC doors and a gable roof with a superstructure used today also in tenements. A side steel gate and fence have survived. The photo also shows the construction of the first stage of Hanka's student home.
