The bell tower ("Grosse cloche") with the Rue St. James in the old town of Bordeaux. It was built in the 15th century and gave the Sigal for wine harvesting and in case of fire. It represents an important symbol for the city and it can still be found in the coat of arms. Nowadays the bell is rung for special days as well as every first Sunday in the month.
