Das Rathaus in Balingen, der Kreisstadt des Zollernalbkreises in Baden-Württemberg, wurde 1811 errichtet. Das Rathaus an der Färberstraße 2 ist ein geschütztes Kulturdenkmal.
Nachdem das alte Rathaus dem Stadtbrand von 1809 zum Opfer fiel, wurde das heutige Rathaus von Bauinspektor Carl Christian Nieffer (1787–1871) erbaut. Es beherbergte damals die Stadtverwaltung, das Oberamt, das Oberamtsgefängnis, das Notariat, ein Waag- und Lagerhaus sowie die Fruchtschranne.
Das Gebäude wurde von 2000 bis 2003 umfassend renoviert.
The town hall in Balingen, the district town of the Zollernalb district in Baden-Württemberg, was built in 1811. The town hall at Färberstraße 2 is a protected cultural monument.
After the old town hall fell victim to the town fire of 1809, today's town hall was built by building inspector Carl Christian Nieffer (1787–1871). At that time it housed the city administration, the Oberamt, the Oberamts prison, the notary's office, a weighing and warehouse as well as the Fruchtschranne.
The building was extensively renovated from 2000 to 2003.
