Rue Montoir Poissonnerie in the Vaugueux district of Caen, at the beginning of the 20th century and today. In the background the churches of Saint-Pierre (left) and Saint-Sauveur (hidden by houses in the old photo). The district was particularly badly hit by the Allied bombings towards the end of the Second World War. As one can see, the residential area was completely rebuilt and the street was significantly widened.
