In the four corners of Lemberg's market square, which is part of the UNESCO world heritage since 1988, there are four sculptures of Greek mythological figures: Neptune, Diana, Amphitrite and Adonis. They were constructed in 1815 by the Austrians.
Shown here is Neptune with the church of transfiguration (Преображенська церква) in the background.
Aux quatre coins de la place du marché de Lemberg, classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO depuis 1988, se trouvent quatre sculptures représentant des figures mythologiques grecques: Neptune, Diane, Amphitrite et Adonis. Ils ont été construits en 1815 par les Autrichiens.
On voit ici Neptune avec l'église de la transfiguration (Преображенська церква) à l'arrière-plan.
