Place Jules Joffrin in Montmartre around 1900 and today. The square in the 18th arrondissement is dominated by the town hall, constructed between 1888 and 1892. It is name after the socialist politician Jules Joffrin (1846 – 1890), who was involved in the Paris Commune.
