This is the old Miramar (loosely "sea view") bar and restaurant. It used to be a popular meeting spot for artists and local people in Florianópolis, a city build on an island in southern Brazil. It also hosted local rowing competitions. In 1974, it was demolished due to the land filling efforts. In recognition of the cultural value that the bar had provided to the city, the Miramar Memorial was built in 2001 and now stands where the Miramar once stood.
C'est l'ancien bar-restaurant Miramar (vaguement "vue sur la mer"). C'était autrefois un lieu de rencontre apprécié des artistes et des habitants de Florianópolis, une ville construite sur une île du sud du Brésil. Il a également accueilli des compétitions d'aviron locales. En 1974, il a été démoli en raison des efforts de remplissage des terres. Reconnaissant la valeur culturelle apportée par le barreau à la ville, le monument commémoratif Miramar a été construit en 2001 et se trouve actuellement à l'emplacement où se trouvait le Miramar.
